3rd Annual ASDA SNDA Golf Outing

The third annual ASDA SNDA Golf Outing will be taking place Sunday, September 12th at Eagle Crest Golf Resort in Ypsilatnti (www.eaglecrestresort.com). We will be welcoming School of Dentistry students, faculty, alumni, friends, family, pre-dental students, and all of our sponsors. The format of the outing is a four person team scramble with several contests, prizes, and giveaways including, longest drive, closest to the pin, a vegas hole, and much more. Registration and the driving range will open at 8am, and the shotgun start is scheduled at 9am.

Cost for the event is $65 for ASDA/SNDA students, $70 for non-ASDA/SNDA students, and $75 for faculty and anyone else who would like to play. This includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, driving range, boxed lunch delivered out on the course, raffle tickets, and a post game meal in the clubhouse.

Ready to Register? We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover. You can register multiple golfers or just yourself. Choose an option from the drop down button to indicate how many golfers you will be paying for and whether they are students or non students. Next, click on the “Buy Now” google checkout button and follow the instructions. If you already have a google account, sign in and proceed with payment/checkout. If you do not have an account, it only takes a few seconds to create one, and then proceed with payment/checkout.

Thanks for everyone that came out and ran in memory of Ryan Turner and in support for Operation Smile! It was a beautiful day to run = ) We hope to continue this tremendous support in memory of Ryan Turner for years to come.

A message from Ryan’s Mother

” I just want to thank each of you for coming to honor my son in this way! My goal has been to come to every Turner’s Trot, but this year my nursing school got in the way. Ryan’s younger brother, Eric, is also getting married next weekend, so the siblings couldn’t come this year either! Our hearts are with you on this day, and thank you again for your support of this event. God bless you all ~ Go Blue!

If you registered for Turner’s Trot but could not make it, you still get a T-Shirt. Also, if you did not get a T-shirt on race day, you will still get a T-shirt. An email will be sent by Neelon Shah in the days to come regarding the arrival of the T-shirts and your class ASDA representatives will be passing them out to you.

Information from September 24th Lunch Seminar

For those members that were unable to attend at the September 24th Lunch Seminar:

One of the perks of joining ASDA is that every ASDA member gets free life insurance worth $50,000 which will double to $100,000 as soon as he or she graduates. In addition, every ASDA member is eligible for student disability insurance at $50.00 for the year, which would translates to a $2000 per month benefit if he or she were to become disabled.
