Click here to register for the fourth annual ASDA Golf Outing which will take place on Sunday, September 18th at Eagle Crest Golf Resort in Ypsilanti.  We will be welcoming School of Dentistry students, faculty, alumni, friends, family, pre-dental students, and all of our sponsors.  Check-in will be open at 12pm, and the shotgun start is scheduled for 1pm.

Cost for the event is $65 for ASDA members, $75 for non-ASDA students, and $85 for anyone else who would like to play.  This includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, open driving range, a box lunch and dinner buffet at the clubhouse.  New to this year, there will be a hole in one contest where everyone will have one shot at winning a 2 year lease on a C300 Mercedes courtesy of Mercedes of Ann Arbor!  We will have longest drive as well as closest to the pin contests, and a skins game along with amazing prizes including a flat screen TV!  The winners of the outing will get free entry into next year’s outing.

The annual ASDA Turner’s Trot 5k walk/run was held at Gallup Park on Sunday, March 27th at 1:00pm. This year’s event was even more special because Ryan Turner’s mother  flew in to join us from Oregon. All proceeds will be donated to Operation Smile. For those who do not know Ryan Turner, Ryan was a fourth-year dental student here at Michigan and was 27 years old when he passed away suddenly in January 2007. Ryan is remembered as a genuine and positive person with a unique laugh and great sense of humor. He held local ASDA leadership positions such as class representative and legislative liaison, and national ASDA leadership positions such as District 6 Trustee. His presence is deeply missed by his family, friends and dental school peers.Congratulations to our Male and Female Winners.  Lindsey Lalonde finished with an amazing time of 15:28 for the men, and Alexandra Petraszko finished with an excellent time of 21:33 for the women.
