As usual, FREE LUNCH for ASDA members!!
Date: Wednesday, Jan 27
Time: 12-1pm
Room: G390
Hope to see you all there!
This year ASDA will be holding the Lunch Seminar Coordinator elections at noon on February 2nd. Pizza will be provided for all ASDA members who attend.
The responsibilities of this position are focused on coordinating with vendors to set up an average of 2 lunch and learns per month during the fall and winter semesters.
If you are interested in running for this position we are asking that you submit a short summary regarding why you would like the position no less than 100 words in length. Please include all ASDA events that you have participated in during the past year. This will not only be reviewed by the board but it will also be available for ASDA members to read prior to voting. Please send your summary to Neelon (neelons@umich.edu) no later than January 31st. If you have trouble meeting the deadline please speak to Neelon explaining why. Otherwise no submissions will be accepted after this date.
The day of the election we will be asking each candidate to address the ASDA members present regarding why they would like the position. This should be a maximum of 3 minutes in length.
The reason that we are switching to a new election style is because many of you (ASDA members) have expressed that you would like more control over the election process. Thank you for your feedback and please continue to let us know what you think about the new format.
If you have any questions please contact Brent Medema at brentmed@umich.edu

A message from Ryan’s Mother
” I just want to thank each of you for coming to honor my son in this way! My goal has been to come to every Turner’s Trot, but this year my nursing school got in the way. Ryan’s younger brother, Eric, is also getting married next weekend, so the siblings couldn’t come this year either! Our hearts are with you on this day, and thank you again for your support of this event. God bless you all ~ Go Blue!
If you registered for Turner’s Trot but could not make it, you still get a T-Shirt. Also, if you did not get a T-shirt on race day, you will still get a T-shirt. An email will be sent by Neelon Shah in the days to come regarding the arrival of the T-shirts and your class ASDA representatives will be passing them out to you.
